Today was pesto chicken day.
Testing Soundcloud integration. Just signed up there to upload some rehearsal songs.
1. Bach - Prelude no.1 in C Major, BWV 846
2. Bach - Prelude no.2 in C Minor, BWV 847
3. Nyman - Big My Secret
4. Debussy - Clair De Lune
Done with the first two, and learned part of the the intro on the last two. I have a MIDI-keyboard with no pedal, so I have to add the sustain in Reason, not the best solution, gets a bit too floaty, but yeah.
The Go! Team - Ready to go Steady
I just found out this fantastic song also has a fantastic music video. Happy times!
Goddamnit, I’ve started learning Clair de Lune (page 1 of 6 here, this page shouldn’t be so bad). I will not survive this ordeal. And I really should be finishing the other two songs I’m trying to learn; Big My Secret and Apanhei te Cavaquinho. Or I really should stop trying to learn these fucking difficult songs. Though I DID learn Prelude no.2 by Bach, and that was somewhat difficult, but then again nowhere near Clair de Lune and Big My Secret. Cavaquinho is the easiest of them. I should really buy a piano, because this MIDI-keyboard only has 4 octaves, and that is not enough. But then I really should buy a house first, so I can play loud piano music all night. But then I need a LOT of money. Can someone buy me a house and a piano? I’ll be really grateful!

It’s fun making these from still photos, watching it come alive.
